Theatre Development Centre @ Triskel April saw the Theatre Development Centre open its doors for the first time with a reading of a play by Carmel Winters entitled 'Adam and Evie' as part of the festivities on launch night. Corcadorca's artistic director Pat Kiernan work-shopped the piece for a week with the writer and the actors Karl Shiels and Lucianne McEvoy in the TDC.
Since the launch we have received a number of submissions from people requesting the use of the space for development purposes, and we are hoping to receive many more. We have launched an interactive website for the Development Centre which is now up and running at www.theatredevelopmentcentre.com
If you have an idea or project for development and would like to bring it to Triskel, now is the time complete our online submission form. Founded in 1978 and housed on Tobin Street in the centre of Cork city, Triskel is dedicated to the promotion and presentation of contemporary arts.
